SST STEM annual symposium Gwinnett Convention Center

This is my summary of the SST STEM annual symposium held on 04/30/2013 at Gwinnett Convention Center.

Every SST major is actively involved in a systematic investigation and conducting research during the 4 years of learning in GGC. STEM initiative for the year-1 was for 20 institutes and for second year the STEM initiative proposals were awarded to 8 institutes. The research experience of students in not limited to selected few students but for all students through SoTL spread throughout 4 years of study.

Research experiences need to be developed in all SST majors, accordingly develop relevant courses offered by the disciplines. Aim is to develop innovative projects for all sections of all courses in SST.
