Student Assessment

Working Ground Rules

Assessment of student learning should be:

*) Integrated with the GGC mission and stragetic plans
*) Primarily owned and implemented by faculty and staff
*) Interdisciplinary and developmental to provide a full assessment of student learning

Faculty Roles:

*) Participate in discipline and/or Interdisciplinary Education Experience goal team discussions about outcomes, measurements, assessment plans and responses to data
*) Collect and maintain embedded course data as determined by your discipline
*) Provide data reports in compliance with the plans of your discipline
*) Participate, when appropriate, in institutional-level or general purpose assessment activities.
